Basic Information

This guide is designed to navigate you through the world of Web 2.0

What is Web 2.0?

Well, there is no one definition for Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is more about characteristics than a single definition. It's about collaboration and interaction. Users add value.

Web 2.0 is not just information, it is an experience. Web 2.0 includes user-generated content instead of one webmaster controlling all of the content. This user-generated content includes making a comment, giving a star rating, posting to a blog, editing a wiki, using Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, Flickr, LinkedIn, Youtube, or a number of other social media outlets.
