As the library’s physical space will be closed this semester, you can request materials through the library search and pick them up in the East Peoria bookstore.
To request material, use the blue library search bar on the library homepage. Once you find the book or DVD you are looking for, you can fill out a request form.
For ICC material, all circulating items except physical reserves are available from both the East Peoria and Peoria collection. Books will be loaned for 4 weeks, and DVDs will be loaned for 1 week and can be renewed. Please allow at least 2 business days to get material ready and processed from time of request. Items from ICC Library’s collection will be delivered to the Bookstore for pickup throughout the week. Please wait for an email saying your item is ready before going to pick it up.
For material from other institutions, availability will depend on the loaning library. Most items will be loaned for 4 weeks, and renewals will be determined by the loaning library. Due to quarantine protocols, please allow at least 10 days to get material ready and processed from time of request. Items from other institutions will be delivered to the Bookstore for pickup on Mondays and Thursday mornings. Please wait for an email saying your item is ready before going to pick it up.
The last day to request an item from another school during the Fall 2020 semester is November 24, 2020. Requesting will resume on January 11, 2021.
If the item you are searching for is NOT available through I-Share or if there is an article you are searching for that is not in one of the ICC databases, complete the form on this page and the Library will conduct a worldwide search for it.
Here are two video tutorials on how to request physical materials online for pick-up at the East Peoria Bookstore.
You can pickup and return library items at the Customer Service Desk inside the East Peoria Bookstore. The current bookstore hours can be found on their website: https://bookstore.icc.edu/.
