Library Services During COVID-19: Instruction

A guide to library services and academic support center services during the COVID-19 pandemic

Course Research Guides

Contact a librarian to create a customized library research/assignment guide for your course, including a unique link to embed in Blackboard for easy access to the guide. Browse ICC Library Research Guides

Course guides collect all library resources relevant to the assignment in one place so that students don't have to navigate the library's webpages.  For more information, watch the quick video tutorial below.

Online Library Instruction

If library instruction sessions are needed, fill out the instruction request form to request live assistance to your course through Zoom.

Topics we can cover in sessions include:

  • Introduction to the library
  • Research question development
  • Search strategies and keyword selection
  • Citation creation
  • Plagiarism avoidance and detection
  • Article analysis
  • Database selection and use
  • Evaluating web resources

Librarians will do their best to accommodate these requests.  A quick video tutorial of this service can be found below.
