    All Campus Libraries will close at 4:00 p.m. M-F during this time frame, with East Peoria open 11-4 on Saturdays, and North open 9-2 on Saturdays. See next posts for exceptions.

Basic Information

This guide is designed to navigate you through the world of Web 2.0


What is Web 2.0?

Well there is no one definition for Web 2.0.  Web 2.0 is more about characteristics than a single definitions.  Its about collaboration and interaction. Users add value.

Web 2.0 is not just information it is an experience.  Web 2.0 includes user generated content instead of one webmaster controlling all of the content.  This user-generated content includes: making a comment, giving star rating, posting to a blog, editing a wiki, using Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, Fickr, LinkedIn, Youtube
